BEGINNER Taster classES
There will be three introductions to Lindy Hop tasters. Taster classes are free, open for anyone to join, and find out if this dance is something for you! There is no need to sign up, just come and join. There will be a social dance on Wednesdays after the taster. Feel free to hang around, grab a drink, and ask us all your questions about Lindy Hop & Swing dancing!

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED Taster classES
There will be two free Intermediate/Advanced Lindy Hop tasters on the 16th of September. These taster classes are open for anyone to join and get a taste of what the Intermediate/Advanced Lindy Hop class will look like! There is no need to sign up, just come and join.

Lindy Hop beginners
An intro to swing dancing in 10 weeks.
Lindy Hop is a partnered dance that originated from the African-American community in Harlem, New York in the 1920’s/30s. It is a lively energetic dance that is closely connected to jazz music popular at this time.
This course is designed for total beginners, although repeat students who want to polish their basics or learn the opposite role are more than welcome! We will start with the basic steps and teach you everything you need to know.
We rotate partners in class – this means you also can join the class if you don’t have a dance partner.

Lindy Hop INTERMEDIATE
Follow up to a Lindy Hop beginners course or a previous Lindy Hop course. Advance your swing dancing in 12 weeks!
This course is designed for people who already know the basics of swing dancing, including 6- & 8-count, Lindy circle, and some experience in social dancing. If you have taken some classes before and you have been social dancing, this course is for you!
We rotate partners in class – this means you also can join the class if you don’t have a dance partner.

lindy hop INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Already dancing Lindy Hop for a while and looking to spice things up even more? Let’s help you get there with fancy move combos, footwork variations, and to be more musical and fun, even with the most basic moves. We will also continue improving the quality of connection and shape while working on the materials. If you have been dancing for a few years or just finished our intermediate course, this is perfect for you! If you have finished all previous classes with us, don’t worry, the materials will still be new and challenging.
You can expect things including but not limited to:
Advanced move combos
Swing out variations (lots of them)
Styling and expression
Rhythm changes – Breaks/Dragging/Speeding/Syncopation
Tips and practices for fast or slow lindy

Social Dance
Every Wednesday after class, there will be a social dance. No pre-registration is needed, it’s free, we’ll keep the music spinning & the beers cold! Come and join us 🙂
