Lindy Hop taster

There will be two introductions to Lindy Hop tasters. Taster classes are free, open for anyone to join, and find out if this dance is something for you! There is no need to sign up, just come and join. There will be a social dance on Wednesdays after the taster. Feel free to hang around, grab a drink, and ask us all your questions about Lindy Hop & Swing dancing!

Lindy hop beginners

If you have never danced before, need to brush up on your basics or want to learn the other role, this is the course for you. Over 10 weeks our instructors will introduce you to some foundation steps and moves of the Lindy Hop. You will also be exposed to the historical and cultural notion of Lindy Hop as it begun and where it sits in todays modern world. We hope you have fun, and learn. 
We rotate partners in class – this means you also can join the class if you don’t have a dance partner.

lindy hop next level

This course is for anyone who has is looking to take their dancing to a next level. It is a merger of those who just finished the beginner plus and advanced course. We will work on increasing dance vocabulary, musicality and connection. Also we will have special guest teachers on 12th May – Mike and Katie will be here to lead a special 2 hour class for us!

BALBOA 2

For those who danced the Balboa beginners course this is a continuation. We will continue increasing vocabulary and connection of both pure balboa and bal-swing. Balboa is a smooth, close embrace swing dance that grew out of Southern California in the 1920s–30s. We’re delighted to offer this continued 6-week course on Balboa.

Social Dance

Every Wednesday after class, there will be a social dance. No pre-registration is needed, it’s free, we’ll keep the music spinning & the beers cold! Come and join us 🙂
