Lindy Hop beginner PLUS

Follow up to a Lindy Hop beginners course or a previous Lindy Hop course.
This course is designed for people who already know the basics of swing dancing, including 6- & 8-count, Lindy circle and some experience in social dancing. If you have taken some classes before and you have been social dancing, this course is for you! 
We rotate partners in class – this means you also can join the class if you don’t have a dance partner.

lindy hop ADVANCED

Already dancing Lindy Hop for a while and looking to spice things up even more? Let’s help you get there with fancy move combos, footwork variations, and to be more musical and fun, even with the most basic moves. We will also continue improving the quality of connection and shape while working on the materials. If you have been dancing for a few years or just finished our Intermediate/Advanced course, this is perfect for you! If you have finished all previous classes with us, don’t worry, the materials will still be new and challenging.

Introduction to Shag

Collegiate Shag is a joyful, high-energy swing dance from the late 1920s–30s, known for its bouncy rhythm, close connection, and love of faster tempos. In this course, we’ll build a solid foundation: footwork variations, connection, break steps, simple turns, and shag outs, and more!

Introduction to BALBOA

Balboa is a smooth, close embrace swing dance that grew out of Southern California in the 1920s–30s. In this course we will introduce pure bal, slowbal and bal swing. We aim to further combine pure bal and bal swing. Commonly associated on crowded dance floors with faster music, but also ideal on any beat swing music. We’re delighted to offer this 6-week course on Balboa.

Social Dance

Every Wednesday after class, there will be a social dance. No pre-registration is needed, it’s free, we’ll keep the music spinning & the beers cold! Come and join us 🙂
